September 9, 2026. Jan Gasparski and Dariusz Góra, Vice Presidents of our Association, had the pleasure of representing our community at a welcome reception held at the Ambassador’s Residence in Warsaw’s Mokotów district. The event was hosted by U.S. Ambassador Thomas A. Rose in honor of his new team members.
Addressing a small group of invited guests alongside his wife, Ambassador Rose introduced three new members of the Embassy staff: Alexander Daniels, Counselor for Public Diplomacy; Chad Twitty, Cultural Affairs Attaché; and Peter Brown, Information Officer/Press Attaché. All three are seasoned career diplomats with experience at numerous and geographically diverse posts – from Paris to Moscow and from Haiti to Pakistan. Two of them – we are delighted to note – speak Polish.
In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted, on the one hand, the strong qualifications and professionalism of his new colleagues and, on the other, the challenges of the times we live in, particularly here in our part of Europe, in the face of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
We wish the new staff of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw great satisfaction in their work, as well as many opportunities to savor Polish culture and hospitality – and we hope that Warsaw quickly becomes their second home.
