On June 16 and 17, numerous members of the Alumni Association participated in celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, organized by U.S. diplomatic missions in Kraków and Warsaw. Both events served not only as an opportunity to commemorate an important milestone in U.S. history, but also to highlight the enduring partnership and friendship between Poland and the United States.

Alumni at the 4th Edition of the “US-CEE Connection Weekend”
The international conference “U.S.–Central and Eastern European Connection Weekend” was held for the fourth time. The organizers—the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington—invited participants to Kraków, specifically to the auditorium of the Collegium Novum at the Jagiellonian University, for the weekend of June 12–13, 2026.
Following the theme “Transatlantic Challenges in Law, Business & Policy,” conference participants discussed the most pressing issues related to regulations concerning capital markets, trade, sustainable development, public advocacy, and digital transformation. The dynamic geopolitical changes of the present day have drawn attention to these matters, and numerous regulations may significantly affect the future of relations between the United States and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, particularly Poland.
