The Sports Diplomacy programs use universal passion for sport to overcome language, social and cultural differences and build relationships between people. Practicing sports teaches leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that help young people succeed in their future lives.
The exchange programs are organized in cooperation with SportsUnited. They allow participants to get acquainted with the American culture while making contacts with American peers who practice a sport and professionals who work in it. In turn, Americans get to know other cultures and challenges facing young people around the world. Over the years, thousands of young people from over 100 countries have participated in Sports Diplomacy programs, including a dozen or so young athletes, coaches and sports activists from Poland.
