On February 12, we held the first installment of the “Mozaika – Exchange of Experiences” series this year. The concept of future leadership was presented by Dr. Aleksandra Hirszfeld – author of books and documentary films, producer of initiatives promoting social awareness and addressing global challenges, whose research focuses on, among other things, social transformation, leadership, and the ethical dimensions of leading others.
Changing leadership begins with changing the leader – that was the overall takeaway from the meeting. The audience was inspired by the idea of Quantum Collective Wisdom, a platform designed to connect social projects and share knowledge. We thank our audience for their participation and for sharing their thoughts and questions. The discussions and reflections continued afterward at Hala Koszyki in an informal atmosphere – and as everyone knows, that’s when the best ideas are born 😉

We’ve just wrapped up the second meeting of the “Mozaika – Exchange of Experiences” series in 2026. Our guest was Dr. Grzegorz Boguta – publisher, university lecturer, and democratic opposition activist, as well as one of the protagonists of the book The CIA Book Club. The topic of the meeting was “Publishing: From the Underground to Established Institutions.”
We talked with our guest about building an independent publishing network in communist Poland, the challenges of the post-1989 transition, and creating lasting institutions in times of profound change. Meeting a man who helped shape this history gave the conversation a truly unique dimension.

On July 8, we held the pre-summer installment of the “Mozaika – Exchange of Experiences” series. A remarkably inspiring presentation titled “How American Cities Are Adapting to Environmental Challenges” was delivered by Professor Agata Cieszewska, a Fulbright scholar who carries out her research projects at the Department of Landscape Architecture of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
Participants had the opportunity to learn about new urban planning concepts that integrate natural elements into the urban fabric, in line with the so-called urban resilience strategy in the United States. A growing number of cities are implementing green infrastructure solutions, including city parks, green roofs, rain gardens, and stormwater retention systems. These elements are becoming a key tool in helping cities adapt to environmental challenges.
The stars of the presentation turned out to be New York and Portland – two American cities that are systematically implementing green infrastructure. The professor spoke about the topic with remarkable passion, pointing out many practical ways in which cities can improve residents’ quality of life, mitigate the effects of urban heat islands, and reduce the risk of flooding.
