Celebration of the 248th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the US Consulate General in Krakow

The celebration took place at Fort Kleparz in Krakow. The artistic setting for the celebration was provided by the Topside Brass Band – the brass section of the U.S. Navy Band in Europe and Africa. There was plenty of traditional food, snacks and drinks and spirits. All in the American spirit.

The highlight of the celebration was the joint listening of the anthem of the United States and Poland in the presence of Marek Brzezinski – Ambassador of the U.S. Embassy Warsaw and Erin Nickerson – Consul of the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow.
Celebrating these two important events was an excellent opportunity to meet with members of the Alumni Association, participants in U.S. Department of State programs, Association partners from, among others, the U.S. Embassy in Poland, the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow, the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, Jagiellonian University and our American friends.
God bless America!
