In early December, Polish and Belarusian Alumni came to Krzeszowice to have a double celebration: the traditional “Alumni Thanksgiving” and a summary of the “America in Krzeszowice” project, of which the Alumni Association was a partner. “America in Krzeszowice” is a project implemented by the Cultural and Sports Center in Krzeszowice.
Five experts were invited to present their proposals for social and cultural innovations that they had observed in the United States and which, in their opinion, could be transferred to Krzeszowice. Among them were two members of our Association: Stanisław Alwasiak and Radosław Rybkowski.
During the Gala, youth dance and vocal groups performed, the results of benchlearning analyses prepared by experts were presented, and those present were treated to American-style delicacies. The star of the evening was American soul, blues, jazz and Fulbrighter artist Stan Breckendridge.
The event was honored by the presence of: Adrian Pratt – Consul for Press, Culture and Education from the US Consulate General in Krakow and Oksana Jensen from the US Department of State.
