“Holiday Remnants” are becoming increasingly popular among the members of our Association. This year the initiatives appeared in the Świętokrzyskie, Silesian and Mazovian voivodeships.
In the Świętokrzyskie our colleague Jacek Piwowarski invited Alumni to Wiązownica-Kolonia for a “Tour de Kologne” bicycle ride.
In Silesia, the Alumni were on a full-day excursion, which included a narrow-gauge train trip, a tour of the railroad switching station and the museum of the Upper Silesian Narrow Gauge Railway in Bytom as well as a visit to the museum in Tarnowskie Góry of American involvement in the European theater of World War II. And all these attractions were organized by our colleague Monika Trzcionkowska.
In Warsaw, we were invited to visit the Sejm. And the invitation and care of the group was held by Association member Ewa Kołodziej.
