Embassy event for new graduates of Polish-American exchange programs

At the invitation of the American Embassy in Warsaw, representatives of the Alumni Association took part in a ceremonial breakfast with graduates of Polish-American exchange programs. The event was organized on September 25, 2023 in the ballroom of the Regent Warsaw Hotel. The gathered guests were welcomed by Brian George, the newly appointed Counselor for Public Affairs of the American Embassy, accompanied by the Cultural Attaché, Jeanne Briganti.

In a short speech, Counselor George greeted the gathered guests, introduced the people responsible for preparing the ceremony, and distinguished the representatives of the Alumni Association present in the room, encouraging the gathered graduates to contact them personally in order to consider membership in the Association. The hall was well represented by, among others: graduates of the Flex program, for whom activity in the Alumni Association would be the first form of social involvement in their adult lives. Brian George’s invitation to take an interest in the activities of the Alumni Association met with great response among the meeting participants.

And immediately after the ceremony, one of the radio stations broadcast a live interview with a journalist participating in the Polish-American breakfast at the Regent Warsaw Hotel, who placed the event in the broad context of Polish-American relations and, citing the opinions of a number of diplomats, proved the very good condition of these relations.
