New Audit Committee of the Alumni Association

Yesterday, members of the Alumni Association held elections to the Audit Committee during the Extraordinary General Meeting.

After the vote, Maja Meissner, Piotr Kotelnicki, and Przemysław Schmidt took up their positions on the Committee. We congratulate them on their election and look forward to working together for the good of the Association.

At the same time, the management board and the entire community would like to thank the previous members of the Committee for their many years of supporting the Association’s activities with their knowledge, experience, and commitment. Krzysztof Cichocki, Aneta Pacek-Łopalewska, and Małgorzata Zasuńska – these were wonderful years of cooperation.

Quo Vadis Polish education…?

“Quo Vadis Polish education …?” was the topic of an educational conference held on October 25, 2025, at Piwnica Powszechna in Krakow. The event was organized by the Staropolska Academy of Applied Sciences in Kielce, the Jerzy Turowicz Association, the Tygodnik Powszechny Club, and Piwnica Powszechna in Krakow. The Alumni Association was the patron of the event.

Kłodzko Education Conference 2025

We are delighted to say that it was a unique event, and we were able to be part of it! The Kłodzko Education Conference, which took place on October 23, 2025, in Polanica Zdrój, is an initiative born out of the need for change – real, grassroots change rooted in the local context.

Integration Trip to Jaroszowiec

As usual, we started our Integration Trip with a barbecue, tasty food, good drinks, and long conversations between the members of our Association. Some of us already knew each other from previous trips, but there were also people who came for the first time. And Friday’s barbecue was a great time to get to know each other better.

The third edition of the “U.S.-Central and Eastern European Connection Weekend” conference took place this June. The Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America, Washington D.C. invited to the auditorium of the Collegium Novym of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow for the weekend of June 13-14, 2025.

Pathfinders of Tomorrow: Academy of Young Polish Business Innovators

The Alumni Association was a partner in the project “Pathfinders of Tomorrow: Academy of Young Polish Business Innovators,” which was implemented by the Warsaw Enterprise Institute (WEI), with financial support granted by the US Embassy in Poland. As part of the project, 8 workshops for young entrepreneur-innovators and a series of study visits to companies that were partners of the project were organized between March and May 2025.

The series of meetings “Mosaic – sharing experiences”

Members and members of the Alumni Association meet to share their knowledge, experience and professional interests. They will do this in a 20-minute presentation or lecture. Asking questions and discussion will be an integral part of the “Mosaic,” for which 40 minutes will be spent. After the content part, there will be a networking part. This will be the time to make new friends and consolidate the ones already made.
