In the last days of June (28-29), Krakow hosted the international conference “2nd US-CEE Connection Weekend: US and EU Perspectives on ESG: Towards a Sustainable World or a Dangerous Utopia?”, which was organized by the School of American Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Columbus School of Law of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. The Alumni Association was the Honorary Patron of the event.
The main purpose of the two-day conference was to confront European and American challenges and perspectives on ESG. There was also an opportunity to exchange experiences in the Polish-American law and business community. We are pleased that one of the panelists was a member of the Association, Ewa Całus – Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of the City of Krakow for Climate Education.
The conference was an event full of valuable legal knowledge, with an exceptional group of guests from Poland and the United States, which will certainly remain in our memories for a long time. It was also a great place to make new business and academic contacts. We are already looking forward to the next edition and further discussions on creating a sustainable world!
We send our appreciation to the creators of the conference for their contribution to the organization of the event and its substantive level. And one of them was Fulbrighter and Association member Luke Chyla. Applause.
