Launching the Republic of Poland’s 100 years of independence celebrations
On December 6th, the U.S. Consul General in Cracow Walter Braunohler invited Alumni, students of American Studies (Jagiellonian University), school youth and Americans residing in Cracow for a very special event. On this day the Embassy and the U.S. Consulate in Poland formally began celebrating 100 years since regaining independence by Poland and very special Polish-American relations in the XX and XXI centuries. On the last Monday of November we met once again for another part of an event series, the Road Show project. We gathered at the American Information Resource Center, operating under the U.S. Consulate in Cracow, to listen to Wojciech Blecharczyk, PhD and his lecture: Green and Smart Cities.
