On the initiative of Katarzyna Szyper, member of our Association, Alumni from the Silesia Voivodeship met in a charming restaurant Chata z Zalipia on Friday, February 22, 2019. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other and talk about experiences related to staying in the USA. Despite the scholarship trip in various years (although three of those present at the meeting were there in 2004), in different places, and under different programs, the Alumni found common topics and interests easily. We encourage all members of the Association to foster contacts, which are a valuable source of knowledge and opportunity to cooperate on many levels. We also hope that next time, the Silesian Alumni will meet in a larger group.

Our Association was a partner of the conference “Partnership for Innovation”, organized by the Technology Transfer Center of the Cracow University of Technology together with AmCham Krakow & Katowice. The conference took place on January 15 in Krakow. Read More

It’s the sixth time that the Alumni Association organized a Christmas party on Tuesday evening, December 11. It took place in the charming interiors of Amaristo Cafe, located at Jazdów in Warsaw. The party was attended by over 50 members and friends of the Association, as well as scholars from FLEX Poland and FLEX Ukraine. Read More

On 1 December 2018 at the Opole Philharmonic a piano concert took place entitled “100 years together. Let’s celebrate Herbert Hoover.” It was a unique concert organized jointly by the Alumni Association and the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow. The event’s partners were: the Marshall of the Opole Voivodeship and the Opole Philharmonic. Read More

On November 24, the Alumni group met to celebrate one of the most important American holidays – Thanksgiving. The initiators and organizers of the event were: Joanna Węgrzycka and Rafał Pieprzyk from the board of the Association. The event met with great interest. Read More

The Alumni Association took the honorary patronage of the event of the 4th Days of Jewish Culture “Close Ones and Distant Ones” organized by Katarzyna Łaziuk, member of our Asosociation, in Mińsk Mazowiecki. Read More

On October 26, 2018, the Alumni Association took part in the first Polish-American youth forum organized in the newly-opened American Center Warsaw at Warsaw University of Technology. On September 19-21, 2018, 30 Alumni from several European and post-Soviet countries came to Yerevan, Armenia. Participants originated from: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Hungary Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
