Well, and it happened. We are after the 10th edition of the traditional ‘Xmas Party’ held in Warsaw.
This year we were hosted by Avangarda Restaurant, and the party was attended by a very large number of Alumni, both members of the Alumni Association, as well as people who have not yet signed up with us. We also had distinguished guests:
Brian George – Press and Cultural Counselor at the US Embassy in Warsaw, Joanna Kapica – our mentor from the US Embassy in Warsaw, Piotr Dobrosz – Director of the American Council Poland and Joanna Keler – Board Member of the British Alumni Society.
The Xmas Party was bustling, tasty and, of course, could not do without gifts. The traditional enumerator mixed up the gifts between everyone present, but did it in such a way that no one left the party empty-handed.
After the official part was over, some of the revelers wanted to continue the conversation at the after party and moved to a nearby bar. It was fun, conversational and there was even some karaoke-style singing.
