The Polish-American Fulbright Commission launched the process of accepting applications for the Fulbright Slavic Award.
The program is addressed to scholars doing scientific research or teaching at Polish universities or other scientific centers and who specialize in the field of culture and history of Poland and Central-Eastern Europe. The scholarship allows to conduct classes with students on one of the two universities collaborating with the Fulbright Commission.
–University of Washington in Seattle (UW) – conducting classes on literature, film and cultural studies with a historical, social or political perspective, centered around Polish culture (6-month scholarship); or
–University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC) – conducting classes on cultural studies from the area of gender studies, film/media studies in the context of Central-Eastern Europe region (4-month scholarship).
The deadline for submitting applications is January 8th 2018.
