CHRISTMAS PARTY A.D. 2025

Ah, what an amazing Christmas Party it was !

A different format. A different location. And yet—as always—a great atmosphere and lots of fun.

This year’s 11th edition of the Christmas Party took place at JaBeerWocky Pub at 12 Nowogrodzka Street in Warsaw. The new format of the meeting was based on spontaneity and complete freedom for the participants. As it turned out, it was an exceptionally good decision, because the event enjoyed enormous interest from our “Alumni family.” It has been a long time since we had so many people at a Xmas Party! We were also honored by the presence of distinguished guests from the US Embassy in Poland, the Polish-American Fulbright Commission, and the British Alumni Society.

Although the location and format provided a lot of freedom, one rule was unchanging and absolutely clear: each participant had to wear a festive — and preferably distinctly Christmas-themed — accent. The alumni did a great job, showing enormous creativity. There were sweaters with reindeer and snowflakes, Christmas dresses, Santa hats, T-shirts with seasonal prints, bows, horns, Christmas trees, and jewelry (including a whole range of Christmas earrings).

Although the party started on Thursday afternoon, it lasted a long time — which best reflects the atmosphere and the excellent service provided by JaBeerWocky Pub, which served a wide selection of craft and traditional beers. It was simply delicious.

Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Dariusz Góra for organizing this year’s event and finding such a great venue for the alumni Christmas party.
